This project was to design a recommendation widget that could be used across all the websites in the Reed Exhibition’s portfolio.
The widget is used to recommend exhibitors, products and sessions to people logged into the website based on their activities and favourites. I started by looking at how other websites recommend products to customers and took inspiration from shopping websites like ASOS. I then developed how this could work with recommending different items on Reed Exhibition's websites in a similar way.

404 Error Page
404 error page used across all the websites in the Reed Exhibition’s portfolio.
I was asked to design a 404 error page that could be used across all the websites in the Reed Exhibition’s portfolio. It needed to have a simple design that could be coded to change colour according to the individual shows colour scheme. The page had to have options of going back to the previous page and homepage, but also have an option to contact the team.

Phocus: The OAP App
Introducing the all new service, Phocus: The OAP App.
This phone app has been designed for an older generation to assist them when they want to upgrade to a smartphone for the first time. It includes features such as auto calling and messaging which chooses what service is the most appropriate, eliminating the need to keep switching between different apps. It also has a simple and considered interface with clear buttons. Swipe scrolling has been removed along with unnecessary options to avoid confusion and frustration for the older generation.

KP Nuts
Re-brand of KP Snacks Limited and a re-design of their nuts packaging range to bring it to the modern day.
KP has been producing nuts since the 1940’s and they are known for their high quality standard. However, their logo hasn’t altered much since the 1970’s. I re-branded KP Snacks Limited to bring it to the modern day and re-designed their nuts packaging range to appeal to 25 – 34 year olds, trying to portray the company as timeless, high quality, and sophisticated. The required final outcome was a proposal document containing research findings, analysis, development and proposed designs.

UNIQUE Clothing
Branding for a clothing company for students.
There is a gap in the market for an affordable student clothing brand. Therefore, I conceptualised and branded a clothing company for students. The company has personalised aspects to link with universities, sports, societies, etc. I designed the brand to fit the key words; desirable, distinct and simple.

D&AD New Blood Nationwide Brief
For young adults, dealing with your finances for the first time is complicated and often gets overlooked with serious consequences. My solution is to make dealing with your finances engaging and fun. To achieve this I have created a mobile App, which can be thought of as your own financial advisor in your pocket. This allows the account to be split into mini-accounts and ensures there is enough money available in each. To avoid nasty surprises, spending limits can be set and there is ‘Nagatha’ who is there when Mum isn’t around to nag you.

Are We There Yet? - Children's App
A children’s travel application for smart phones and tablets that can be used on long car journeys.
The idea of this app is that it will stop children getting bored and complaining in the car, which in turn means the driver gets a quiet drive without being distracted. The application will use the phones GPS to find objects and items for the children to spot out of the car window. They can either play by themselves or with others in the car, making it into a mini competition of who can find the objects first. By using GPS, it will be able to tell where you are, so if you are stuck in traffic, items like a traffic cone, a digger, a police car, etc. will come up to find so there’s always something to look out for.
My main target audience for the application will be children ages 4 to 16 years. However, I feel that it could be appealing to all ages due to it’s simple, yet stimulating, look and find idea. I will target my advertisements towards adults due to them being the ones who will want something to keep their children entertained and have a pleasant journey.

Mental Health Service Team - Visual Identity
Branding project for Loughborough University's Mental Health Service Team.
They use the colour green in their publicity a lot and it's the colour for university MH day, so needed to reflect this in the design. They needed a large version (for use on posters, etc) and a small version (for icons). The client asked for something that students would find both welcoming and hope-inspiring. That doesn't mean to say they wanted an image that directly is about these things, it just needed to give that kind of impression. The Mental Health Service Team also needed a multi-coloured version for the 5-a-day for mental health campaign they run.

Prague Tourism GIF
GIF to promote Prague for the Prague Tourism Office.
My aim was to create an animated GIF to promote Prague as a tourist destination for sophisticated, cultured and professional young people. I feel this has been achieved in my final outcome by it using Prague’s culture and beauty alongside a captivating design, which will make people want to visit Prague.
By only showing parts of the image of Prague, it entices the viewer to want to see the whole thing. Not only that, but by me using a painting of Charles Bridge opposed to a photograph, it makes the GIF even more inviting and makes the viewer want to see what it looks like in real life.
